Today were played last two matches in Group D of 2010 World Cup, so now we know two teams which will from Group D go into the next phase of the World Cup: Germany and Ghana.

Germany has a total of 6 points, so Germany is first in Group D. Both Ghana and Australia have 4 points, but because of better goal difference Ghana took second place while Australia took third place in 2010 World Cup Group D.

Serbia took 4th, last place, with only 3 points, and for Serbia, as well for Australia, World Cup is finished.

In today's matches the results were as follows: Ghana vs. Germany 0-1, Australia vs. Serbia 2-1.

So, although today Australia beat Serbia, this still was not enough for passage into the second round. On the other hand, Ghana has passed to the Round of 16, although they lost today’s match against Germany.
